Got a call from this number from a woman claiming she was from "Lab Support" when asked why she was calling she says my computer isn't updating. I told her to go to hell and she wouldn't get my information. It is obviously a career criminal trying to get personal information.

got this call - "Mary from Tech support returning your call that you are having trouble downloading updates to your computer." I never had any such problems and never call for assistance. I told her to never call me again, as she was NOT who she was saying.

my mobile got a call from 493799 at 10:58AM Pacific Time 11-Feb-15, concurrently / immediately after a call from 202.461.3468, which has similar complaints online as this number (except for "Microsoft Support / Windows Updates"...). If I do not recognize the number or know anyone in the area code, I do not answer these calls, they always turn out to be some phisher with a spoofed number. I do not know which is worse, these phisher scum, or ATT for letting these calls through their network.

Got calls from 493799 and 202-461-3468 on same day. The 202 number h as been calling. I don't answer. I wish there was a way to stop these stupid annoying calls

Don't typically answer calls from #s I don't know, but answered this one. Probably phishing.
Male, Indian accent, said he was from "IT Support." He said he called because of trouble on my computer. I countered with, "I don't have a computer." He backpedaled & said this was not a sales call.
So I asked him to tell me what name he had & I'd let him know if he had the wrong #. He said he had no "personal information" on the account. I just interrupted & said, "Don't call me again."

Got call from 493799 today, did not answer. Obviously a scam call.

Got a call from Indian sounding dude saying he was IT Support calling to help me clear the viruses from my computer. I told him that was odd since I didn't have a computer and only used my smartphone. I also said I'm sick of him calling me every single day for the past 2 weeks and to take me off of his list. He then hung up.

Add this number 493799 to my ever growing list of annoying phone calls to my cell several times a day. I did answer once, was told they were calling about my computer updates, and I responded that I did not own a computer, and not to call again. Obviously that didn't happen! Several calls daily.
