I received a phone call from the number "25698" telling me that I had won over 9k in government grants. The lady on the phone had a horrible English accent so I was already suspicious. After I repeatedly asked them how will I be receiving the money, they hung up me. They fail miserably at being scammers.

Just got 2 calls from this number, a male with an Indian (not native AmericaAAmerican) claiming he was calling from the US government and that is when I hung up. I mean come on people. Scam

i received i call from the same number couple of times, it was an Indian man speaking english with horrible accent, he told me i won $9200 and he needs me to transfer a $250 to their account to make sure I'm the right winner.then they will tell me what to do to claim my $9200.
i also received another call from a lady and she asked for my bank account number.
i think it is a scam

An obvious scam since it isn't even a valid phone number. I don't know why anybody would answer it, expecting it to be somebody's real phone number.

I got several phone calls. Unfortunately my cell phone doesn't have a blocked caller list so I downloaded an app for that. My home phone uses nomorobo so it's not likely it would make it through there.

Keep getting calls from number 25698 without leaving a message and now I'm getting calls from some D.C. number from a bad english accent Afghanistan guy saying he is from the U.S. treasury and I can get several thousand and not pay it back. ( the D.C. # is 202-735-7704 BLOCK IMMEDIATELY).

called me at 643am...told me i had a grant. i said, it's 643am and i didn't apply for a grant. he says, but the government just gave it to you. I said, the US Government does not have money or the resources to just give random people money for free - aren't there laws about calling at 643am? he hung up
