I got called by this number 12:01pm 24/01/15. There was a silence to begin with, which always makes me fear the worst, then it started ringing as if I was making a phone call. At this point I hung up.

I've been called twice by this number. My phone blocks all international calls, so the 001 prefix must be a spoof.

This number called yesterday and today. I have caller id and thought the number looked a bit odd, so answered without saying a word. On both occasions there was silence on the other end and then it went dead.

When they called me I told them I'm ex-directory, they have no permission to call me and it is therefore illegal to cold call me. The man told me to f**k off. I'm under no illusions this is a scam and not a real company.

Received a call from 001001696 but picked up a phone with no caller display. Just said 'hello' and there was a brief silence followed by a ringing tone as though I were making a call, at which point I put the phone down. Some sort of scam but no idea what.

I had a call from this number today, when I answered my phone called them. A lady spoke and told me that my broadband had picked up a virus. I asked her if she could tell me my name she then put me through to her Manager I asked him the same question and he give me some information part of it was my wife's name the number and address were from different families in the locality. At that point I was abusive to him and then I hung up. I am ex directory so the only way they can get my number and name together is from Price comparison websites. this always happens when I use them

Called today - barely understandable asian sounding lady told me that my computer is ifected with a virus- she did not know what a ip address or a mac code is told her where to shove her scam and 'go away'
I have heard of this before it is either a attempt to obtain remote access to your pc or they want you to make a very expensive return call to the phillopines.
