Received 2 calls today, 06/16/15 from someone that started out about computers. Sounded foreign and he wasn't very understandable. First time wife took call and hung up. He called back and I hung up without finding what he wanted. Sounded like some sort of scam. Caller-id has unknown name and 9-8873 as the phone number.

This is definitely a scam. They are calling about Windows and ask if you are the owner of the computer. They want you to log into your computer and they will give you instructions. The same thing happened several months ago and my husband kept them on the phone long enough to get that much out of them.

Called my home number and I answered and they spoke a foreign language and could not understand anything they said. I said excuse me and they hung up.

Answered after several rings - there was no response on the other end. They called at 7:30 a.m. Which is too early for anyone but family, in my opinion!

Wife answered at 6:05 this morning. Caller said something about my computer. He had a heavy Asian accent and was hard to understand. Wife hung up and someone called again from the same number at 6;07
. We didn't answer. Has to be some scam. If I get a call at 6 AM I automatically assume emergency. Too early for any legitimate business to call anyone.

Received a few calls from this number on my cell. Blocked the number so hopefully that will ends these calls

i just got a call from this number. The guy was going on about someone trying to hack into my computer. I told him that he had woken my infant and to never call this number again. He continued on about the computer and I said I couldn't talk as I needed to put my baby back to sleep. The creep then asked me what my baby's name was and when I said I wouldn't tell him he had the nerve to ask why! I hung up very abruptly.
Do not answer calls from this number!!!!

number has repeatedly called early in the morning. have answered it and the call immediately hangs up. definitely something fishy going on with this number.

Also just received a call from this number. Thought a 5 digit number was weird and didn't answer. They did not leave a message. I'm glad I looked it up here to find out it's a scanner. Thanks.

Got a call from this number twice at 10:30pm. The first call was 888-73 which I blocked after whoever was on the other end of the phone didn't respond. He called again 5 minutes later from 88873.

He went on about my computer sending out error messages which they had detected. I asked him to tell me what my IP address was so that I could verify it was me. He couldn't tell me. I told him he was a POS and to never call me again.

I received a call from this number at 2:40 am today. No one spoke and line was open 30 secs. then they hung up.

Received call from this number at 0632 hours September 23/ 2015. Answering machine picked up ... no message ... and left an annoying screeching sound when they finally disengaged. They have called before and I attempt to block but phone blocking features don't recognize the 88873 # ... definite scam/ marketing call .... BLOODY annoying ...

How do these loosers get cell numbers that are never given out! They must not have anything to do but fish around for random phone numbers! They need to get a life! Wonder if they will live to be 80 and what they will be like as old men and women! Old loosers!!!
