someone called form this number with a HEAVY indian? Accent, i could barely understand what he was saying. he was reading a script about how i was selected to receive a tax free government grant, that never needed to be repaid. he said i qualified because i was a tax payer, with no debt, and no criminal record. if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is. i hung up. he calls back about every hour.

Same happened here. I didn't say anything at first and after the guy at the other end had said hello a few times I responded and the guy was pissed that I hadn't responded earlier :)) clearly a spam number. Some garbage.

Same here except mine was a lady and she got really rude when I told her to leave me alone and stop harassing me she yelled and said why you're not even letting me explain I said you just did I'm not interested in your scam and she then proceeded to curse me out I hung up

I just had the same call. Heavy Indian accent, said his name was "Richard", worked in the "Branch Department" of "Child and Family Services".

He hung up on me after I asked him about his Employee ID number (549), and what a direct number was that I could call him back at.

Exact same thing happened to me. Told them everything negative in 1 breathe that would make them discredit me from their list. I got a laugh when he hung up on me...

I just received the same call from a woman with an Indian accent. She told me that the government had free money to give away. She asked for my address. I to,d her that if she was really from the government,she would have all that information. She hung up immediately.

This number has been calling me for the past several days. Sometimes they call unknown though. They called me yesterday and i finally answered and an Indian man answered the phone. I then threatened to call the cops if they keep calling me because obviously what they're doing is really suspicious and most likely illegal. He hung up right after.

I got same call, heavy Indian accent, would send the $8000 directly to my bank account. I said I would be happy to be stupid enough to give my acct number to him, right after I turned his call into the FCC!!!

I called the FBI and they said it is a scam and to call the Federal Trade Commission. I filed the complaint. It is a scam. the Federal Government does not give free money.

I have received 3 call in the last 2 hours from someone calling from this number with an Indian accent, Very hard to understand what he was saying. He said that I was selected by a demographic study conducted in my area, selected phone number of people who are tax payer, has good credit and have not claimed bankruptcy in the last 6 months, to receive a $8000 tax free government grant, that never needed to be repaid. I asked for his company name which he said was Human and Health Services 200 Independent Ave, Washington DC 20024. I asked for the phone number to call him back and he refused to give it to me. I stated that I would not talk with him until he gave me the phone number where I can reach him and he hung up.
