Call received claiming to be from Windows Support Centre because my computer was sending them multiple error messages.

Asked me to switch on my computer so that they could show me.

I asked who they were, they claimed to be from a company called 'InfoTech'.

Kept challenging them and then hung up. They called back and a 'senior' person this time was talking to me. When I challenged him, he became rude and abrupt and told me to turn my computer on. I told him not to get aggressive and he terminated the call.

I've just received a call from the same number claiming that my Windows were having problems . When I challenged the caller, Anna, she hung up.

Just received a call from 0051997, a woman said she was calling from windows technical department. I said 'yes' and she hung up! Didn't sound very technical! :)

Had a call claiming my windows PC was infected with a virus.

I let the woman talk for a while, going along with her "technical help". Knowing my way around a pc I could blag her as much as she was trying to me. Problem is, I use a Mac.

When I got bored I asked her what scam she was trying because my windows computer has been a Mac for years she called me a ****** and hung up.
